PUBG Mobile To Host The Biggest Esports Program In Mobile Gaming History

PUBG Mobile is all set to host its own esports program for 2021. The program has an enormous prize pool of $14,000,000 USD making it the highest in mobile esports history. The news was announced at the opening of the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC).

The 2021 program will introduce seven new PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) regions in CIS, Turkey, Western Europe, Arabia, North America, Latin America, and Brazil including the pre-existing.

In the upcoming year, PMCOs and PMPLs being split into two seasons and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) will be held at the end of the year. The program is meant to find the best talent among others.

In addition to this, they have introduced another event, PUBG MOBILE Invitationals which will take place in the summer and will be hosted by top pro teams around the world. Qualcomm Technologies is the proud sponsor of PMGC.

James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Global Esports said,

“2020 has been an incredibly special year for us as we’ve expanded in all aspects and completed our amateur to pro ecosystem, but this was only the beginning. We have huge ambitions to become a tier 1 esports and stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest games in the world, not just to break boundaries within mobile esports"
